It contains silicon additives, which result in improved fluidity (wetting action) of the weld pool and produces a weld less sensitive to cracking. Its bright weld appearance makes it a popular choice of welders looking for a well-presented weld finish. ER4043 can be used to weld various grades of aluminium. Our high purity fillers have sensational flow characteristics and produce exceptional welds that are free of cracks, Fusion defects and other problems to which inferior wires are prone. Each rod is individually stamped or laser engraved with its grade identification marking.  All filler wire and electrodes that Hampdon industrial stock is and premium quality and can be supplied with a certificate of conformance which is essential for manufacturing data reports.
